Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Respond to queries, provide leasing information, and handle resident complaints
• Screen and conduct eligibility appointments for affordable housing programs
• Assist applicants with necessary paperwork to determine program eligibility
• Convert leads into community tours through proactive follow-up
• Conduct personalized apartment tours to secure new leases
• Coordinate lease applications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Execute new lease agreements and manage move-in processes
• Monitor lease renewals and distribute notices
• Perform property inspections and manage regulatory services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of experience as a leasing consultant in affordable housing
• HUD/LIHTC and Section 8 experience
• Proficiency in Yardi Software and Realpage
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local rental regulations
• Experience marketing rental listings through open houses and showings
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish speaking
