Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Respond to queries, provide leasing information, and handle resident complaints
• Screen and conduct eligibility appointments for affordable housing programs
• Assist applicants with necessary paperwork to determine program eligibility
• Convert leads into community tours through proactive follow-up
• Conduct personalized apartment tours to secure new leases
• Coordinate lease applications and adhere to compliance requirements
• Execute new lease agreements and compile documentation for review
• Monitor lease renewals and distribute notices
• Manage regulatory and compliance-related services
• Perform property inspections and respond to leads

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of experience as a leasing consultant in affordable housing
• HUD/LIHTC and Section 8 experience
• Experience managing leases for high-volume properties
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local rental regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Yardi, and Realpage
• Experience in marketing rental listings via open houses and showings

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish speaking
