Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents while promoting available units and amenities
• Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing to applicants
• Process and maintain accurate resident files and manage the waitlist
• Assist with re-certifications, renewals, and resident retention efforts
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents
• Communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality service
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as assigned

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and state landlord-tenant law
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Yardi property management software
• Knowledge of affordable housing and government programs
