Leasing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents and promote available units and amenities
• Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing to applicants
• Process and maintain accurate resident files, waitlists, and reports
• Handle re-certifications, renewals, and resident retention efforts
• Coordinate with the Property Manager and maintenance team on quality and timeliness
• Communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with residents
• Ensure resident satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution

Requirements

• Knowledge of property management software; Yardi preferred
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Understanding of state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Effective communication with diverse individuals at all organizational levels
