About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and edit lease abstracts for accuracy
- Verify and transfer data from paper/electronic formats into database systems
- Update existing data and retrieve information from databases
- Maintain relationships with property managers, accounting personnel, clients, and vendors
- Perform general administrative duties including maintaining lease document trackers and production reporting
- Maintain database lease files to ensure accurate, up-to-date records
- Create and maintain a database of all properties in the portfolio
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of experience in database administration or commercial real estate
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents including lease agreements and amendments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with Property Management Accounting Software such as Visual Lease, Yardi, or MRI
- Strong mathematical comprehension and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or higher
- Experience in Property Management or Real Estate Accounting
