Learning Support Assistant (TA)

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted support and interventions to students on both an individual and group basis
• Develop positive, trusting relationships with children and staff members
• Work closely with the teaching team to support student learning
• Offer observations and ideas to help improve educational outcomes

Requirements

• A passion for supporting the learning and development of children
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a teaching team
• Ability to motivate and encourage young learners
• Open to all applicants, including those with no prior LSA experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) environment
• An aspiration to progress into a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role or similar

Benefits

• Salary: £24,836 - £25,823 depending on experience
• Term time only contract
• Opportunity for contract extension or permanent employment based on performance
