Learning Experience Designer

Responsibilities

• Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and implement high-quality learning experiences across all modalities.
• Provide ongoing support to faculty in integrating innovative teaching strategies and technologies.
• Review courses to ensure alignment with curriculum, program outcomes, accreditation standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with the Learning Team to design and deliver orientations, trainings, and workshops.
• Develop job aids, exemplars, and resources to support effective course design and LMS utilization.
• Conduct course reviews and analysis to support continuous improvement and assessment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of two years of experience in teaching and learning, curriculum development, or instructional design.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and human-centered design.
• Familiarity with Quality Matters standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience with online learning environments.
• Proficiency with D2L Brightspace.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Strong visual design and multimedia skills (e.g., Canva, Camtasia, Illustrator).
