About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging training materials including eLearning, videos, instructor-led training, and exams.
- Translate complex accounting principles into accessible, understandable concepts within BlackLine software.
- Manage the full lifecycle of training projects from concept to release, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Partner with Technical Trainers and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Stay current with accounting industry standards and software implementation trends.
- Occasionally deliver content via virtual classrooms, recorded formats, or onsite classrooms.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a corporate accounting or finance role (e.g., Accountant, Financial Analyst, Controller, or Auditor).
- At least 1 year of experience in technical instructional design and evaluation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using BlackLine or other financial close automation software.
- Proficiency with instructional design tools such as Articulate Rise, Synthesia, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- General understanding of adult learning theory.
