Learning Experience Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging training materials including eLearning, videos, instructor-led training, and exams.
• Translate complex accounting principles into accessible, understandable concepts within BlackLine software.
• Manage the full lifecycle of training projects from concept to release, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Partner with Technical Trainers and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Stay current with accounting industry standards and software implementation trends.
• Occasionally deliver content via virtual classrooms, recorded formats, or onsite classrooms.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a corporate accounting or finance role (e.g., Accountant, Financial Analyst, Controller, or Auditor).
• At least 1 year of experience in technical instructional design and evaluation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using BlackLine or other financial close automation software.
• Proficiency with instructional design tools such as Articulate Rise, Synthesia, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• General understanding of adult learning theory.
