Learning Experience Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end instructional design using the Intelligent Design Framework to create learning strategies, storyboards, and scripts.
• Develop diverse learning assets including eLearning, microlearning, blended programs, and simulations.
• Utilize Gen AI tools to accelerate content creation, iteration, and personalization.
• Mentor and guide a small team of 2–4 instructional designers through regular 1:1s and constructive feedback.
• Conduct learning needs and job-task analyses to align solutions with business goals.
• Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex knowledge into actionable learning experiences.
• Maintain high quality standards across the full design and development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of hands-on instructional design and learning development experience.
• Advanced, hands-on expertise with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
• Proven experience mentoring or leading small teams of instructional designers.
• Demonstrated expertise using Gen AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for learning design.
• Deep understanding of adult learning methodologies and instructional design principles.
• Strong proficiency in LMS platforms, SCORM standards, and common business tools (PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing simulations or scenario-based learning.
• Knowledge of visual design or multimedia production.
• Familiarity with learning analytics and reporting.
• Background in change management or performance consulting.
• Experience working in global, client-facing environments.
