About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide professional social work services to adults with learning disabilities
- Promote clients' choice and control over their lives
- Manage a complex caseload with expert social work practice
- Assess and manage high levels of risk to protect clients from harm
- Chair meetings and offer expert support to case conferences
- Produce high-quality assessments and reports
Requirements
- Registered with Social Work England
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Degree-level qualification in Social Work or equivalent
- Post-qualified experience in social work, preferably with adults with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of assessments and relevant legislation
