Learning & Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Learning & Development strategy aligned with hotel business objectives
• Conduct training needs analysis in coordination with department heads
• Create and manage the annual training calendar covering operational, behavioural, compliance, and leadership programmes
• Identify skill gaps and design targeted learning interventions
• Oversee the delivery of all training programmes to ensure alignment with luxury hospitality standards
• Facilitate induction, technical, and soft skills training
• Develop specialized training in guest service excellence and luxury service standards
• Recruit, train, and develop internal trainers and subject matter experts
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes through assessments and performance metrics
• Manage learning management systems (LMS) and training documentation
• Administer training budgets and manage learning resources
• Design and implement leadership development programmes for supervisory and management staff
• Support succession planning and employee retention
• Ensure all mandatory compliance training is delivered and documented
• Prepare regular reports on training metrics and programme impact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in Learning & Development, Training, or HR
• Prior experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment
