About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain eLearn content, including courses, proficiency exams, and portfolio assessments within the LMS.
  • Collaborate with the Innovation Lab and Center for Teaching and Learning to facilitate workshops and trainings for faculty.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure courses adhere to UX design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and AI-driven pedagogical models.
  • Apply human-centered design and AI strategies during course builds to improve teaching experiences and learner outcomes.
  • Analyze course analytics and feedback to recommend enhancements that optimize learner engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialized coursework in instructional design, UX/LXD, or online learning, OR a Master’s degree in higher education, instructional technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in higher education.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms such as D2L Brightspace, Canvas, or Blackboard.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equitable access, digital inclusion, and learner-centered design.
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience facilitating professional workshops and faculty trainings.
