About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative educational programming initiatives for health professionals.
  • Manage complex projects from initiation to closure, including scope, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Oversee project operations, including program finances, detailed operating budgets, and funding proposals.
  • Supervise and provide direction to a team of interactive designers, instructional designers, and project staff.
  • Strategically leverage educational technologies, learning management systems (Moodle), and emerging digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with provincial and national stakeholders, including medical directors and health organizations.
  • Design and implement evaluation strategies and analyze learning analytics to drive continuous program improvement.
  • Develop communication strategies and marketing materials tailored to diverse learner audiences.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of six years of related experience in educational programming or instructional design.
  • Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing complex timelines and budgets.
  • High level of digital literacy and proficiency with educational technologies and digital collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage staff performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Educational Technology, Biomedical Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) domain or the healthcare sector.
  • Formal training in project management or formal evaluation and user experience research.
  • Experience with grant or proposal writing.
  • Fluency in French.
