About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative educational programming initiatives for health professionals.
- Manage complex projects from initiation to closure, including scope, scheduling, and risk management.
- Oversee project operations, including program finances, detailed operating budgets, and funding proposals.
- Supervise and provide direction to a team of interactive designers, instructional designers, and project staff.
- Strategically leverage educational technologies, learning management systems (Moodle), and emerging digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with provincial and national stakeholders, including medical directors and health organizations.
- Design and implement evaluation strategies and analyze learning analytics to drive continuous program improvement.
- Develop communication strategies and marketing materials tailored to diverse learner audiences.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of six years of related experience in educational programming or instructional design.
- Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing complex timelines and budgets.
- High level of digital literacy and proficiency with educational technologies and digital collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage staff performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Educational Technology, Biomedical Communications, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) domain or the healthcare sector.
- Formal training in project management or formal evaluation and user experience research.
- Experience with grant or proposal writing.
- Fluency in French.
