About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, standardize, and deliver national sales training and development strategies for the Eastern Canada Customer Service Delivery Sales team
- Partner with and influence cross-functional teams and vendors to reach consensus through thoughtful facilitation
- Manage projects by developing plans, prioritizing competing asks, and ensuring deadlines are met while mitigating risks
- Lead, motivate, and coach a small team of learning professionals to execute business strategies
- Communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise, and influential manner through compelling storytelling and executive presentations
- Create tangible, strategically sound plans from abstract ideas and adapt quickly to changing business needs
Requirements
- University degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, go-to-market strategy, or sales leadership
- Intermediate financial acumen with demonstrated business casing capability
- Analytical capability with experience leveraging performance and market data
- Ability to assess revenue, margin, and cost trade-offs within product and pricing decisions
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight stays across Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of extensive hands-on experience in learning strategy, design, development, and delivery within the Telecom industry
- Expertise in conducting learning needs assessments and discovery sessions
- Experience designing and developing a variety of diverse learning solutions
- Familiarity with TELUS Future Friendly Home (FFH), SmartHome Security (SHS), and Mobility portfolios
