Learning and Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate high-quality learning experiences for colleagues
• Create and maintain content including objectives, assessments, and existing material
• Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate engaging learning experiences
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Perform research and needs analysis to map content to learning objectives
• Use content-development frameworks to create courses, presentations, videos, and activities
• Design learning for various modalities including self-paced, virtual, and in-person
• Facilitate classroom-based training sessions
• Evaluate feedback to prioritize updates for future learners

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in developing and improving online and in-person learning
• BA or MA in instructional design, education, or a similar field
• Deep knowledge of learning theories and instructional-design models
• Experience implementing adult-learning best practices
• Ability to write, edit, and proofread instructional text, presentations, and scripts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for group facilitation
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex projects
• Highly collaborative mindset with ability to build credibility across disciplines
