Lean Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean initiatives and implement methodologies to drive continuous improvement across the MRO organization
• Identify inefficiencies and waste in operations, maintenance, and repair processes
• Conduct value stream mapping to visualize end-to-end processes and identify bottlenecks
• Provide Lean training and coaching to employees at all levels
• Collect and analyze data to measure process performance and track KPIs
• Act as a change agent to facilitate and lead change initiatives
• Lead Lean projects from execution through successful implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, and quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Standard Work
• Prior experience implementing Lean principles in an MRO aviation or manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of leading Lean projects with measurable results
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and change management skills
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety practices is a plus
• Lean Six Sigma certification is highly desirable
