About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Lean projects and initiatives across various departments to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Utilize data analysis and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives
  • Mentor and coach team members in Lean principles and practices
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes to management

Requirements

  • Experience using Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools (e.g., 5S, VSM, Kaizen)
  • 0-3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • 0-3+ years of experience in roles requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 0-3+ years of experience using analytical and problem-solving skills for root-cause identification
  • Willingness to travel domestically, including to Charleston, South Carolina
  • Ability to work onsite and potentially on variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of combined relevant experience including education
  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience with coaching and facilitating training
  • Experience with 3P, process mapping, and Kaizen workshops
