About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Lean Practitioners to implement continuous improvement strategies across Everett airplane production programs
  • Develop and implement project and process plans, policies, and operational goals
  • Ensure projects are completed according to plan and implement necessary mitigations
  • Acquire resources for projects and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers, peers, and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval for technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Coach and inspire employees to exceed organizational and customer objectives
  • Lead the team through Lean transformation using daily management and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environments
  • 5+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement tools
  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience requiring strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of formal management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Lean Workshop leadership (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, AIW)
  • 5+ years of experience coaching and teaching Lean principles in an operations environment
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience
