Lean Leader Senior

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy continuous improvement plans based on Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
• Monitor progress of improvement plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the unit
• Promote and embed Lean culture throughout the organization
• Supervise Lean projects led by junior Lean Leaders to ensure best practices are followed
• Guarantee the deployment and optimization of the Alstom performance system (APSYS)
• Coach and support teams to increase their Lean competencies
• Analyze manual assembly processes and ensure optimal production line balancing
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain positive and constructive social relations on the shop floor

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline
• 5 to 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, ideally in assembly or labor-intensive environments
• Mastery of Lean tools and concepts, including VSM and problem-solving methodologies
• Expertise in line balancing and manual assembly processes
• Natural leadership skills with the ability to persuade and animate teams
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to maintain positive field relations
