Lean Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Deliver quantifiable improvements in Quality, Safety, Delivery, and Cost within the assigned Value Stream
• Utilize Value Stream Mapping to drive continuous improvement across production and administration processes
• Lead Kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma projects
• Provide leadership in project execution and mentor Lean Small Group Activities
• Support Lean specialty sub-committees and act as a Subject Matter Expert in focused areas
• Pursue personal development through training, research, and benchmarking activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a combination of relevant experience and formal training
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels and departments
• Strong systems perspective

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Prior Lean knowledge or hands-on experience
