Lean Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day problem-solving support to production, development, and research operations
• Lead or support continuous improvement activities, new product introductions, and cost reduction projects
• Troubleshoot material, process, and equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Use statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) for process improvement and problem-solving
• Train operators and trades personnel on new equipment and processes
• Execute DMAIC projects to meet business objectives and ensure process repeatability
• Support equipment installation, process certification, and documentation for new product launches

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Yellow Belt Training
• Demonstrated knowledge in a technical field
• Experience as a member of a project team
• Proven track record of delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

• Green Belt Certification
• Project team leadership experience
• Shift supervisory experience
• Previous summer internship or progressive experience within the field of engineering
