Lead/Staff Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead the full design process from discovery and problem framing through delivery and iteration
• Design high-quality, scalable experiences across KICK’s live streaming platform for creators, viewers, and moderators
• Translate complex requirements into engaging, user-focused solutions
• Uphold visual and interaction design standards, ensuring consistency with KICK’s design system and brand identity
• Conduct or collaborate on user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing
• Present design work confidently to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
• Work with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities and define success metrics
• Balance competing priorities across multiple user personas while maintaining platform coherence
• Design for scale and internationalisation across global audiences
• Mentor and coach designers across levels, raising overall team capability and design maturity

Requirements

• 10+ years in product design with end-to-end ownership
• Expert Figma proficiency
• Responsive web design expertise
• High-quality UX/UI craft with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility
• Strong design communication and rationale articulation
• Analytical mindset connecting design to business outcomes
• Developer handoff with detailed specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for omnichannel environments, including mobile and TV apps
• Sports, gambling, and cryptocurrency knowledge
• Proficient with Google Suite, Slack, Airtable, and Intercom
