About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phases of EPC projects
  • Establish project baselines, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and critical path schedules
  • Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against approved baselines
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts, and recommend corrective and recovery actions
  • Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to measure performance and forecast outcomes
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure accurate progress measurement
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and manpower histograms
  • Review subcontractor schedules and ensure integration into the overall project master schedule
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior planning engineers and team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within the Oil & Gas and EPC industry
  • Mandatory ADNOC project experience and valid ADNOC approval
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), resource loading, and delay analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as PMP or PSP
  • Experience working on both greenfield and brownfield Oil & Gas projects
  • Familiarity with ADNOC planning procedures, reporting requirements, and approval processes
  • Experience supporting tendering and proposal teams during the bidding stage
