Lead/Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects
• Control and manage the estimating and cost planning process at the project level
• Generate estimates and cost plans independently without supervision
• Assist with gathering and sharing estimating and cost planning data
• Support the development and promotion of estimating good practices
• Stay updated on technical developments to provide best practice advice

Requirements

• High standard qualification in cost planning, estimating, or quantity surveying
• Proven relevant experience in the Rail sector
• Membership of a relevant professional body (chartered status or working towards it)
• Detailed knowledge of cost planning, estimating, processes, and techniques
• Experience providing estimating or QS services in large project environments
• Proficiency with estimating software packages
