About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and support workshop staff in the testing, repair, and servicing of submersible pumps
- Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines
- Manage workshop operations including loading/unloading parts and materials
- Complete delivery dockets and maintain relevant technical documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
- Conduct deliveries and attend site work, including underground locations
- Promote and maintain a strong Zero Harm safety culture
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or readiness to step into a Leading Hand position
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
- Proven ability to lead by example as a hands-on leader
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Commitment to a safety-first culture
Preferred Qualifications
- MR or HR class driver's licence
- Forklift licence
- Mechanical trade qualification
- LVR/CPR certification
