Leading Hand Pump Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead and support workshop staff in the testing, repair, and servicing of submersible pumps
• Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines
• Manage workshop operations including loading/unloading parts and materials
• Complete delivery dockets and maintain relevant technical documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
• Conduct deliveries and attend site work, including underground locations
• Promote and maintain a strong Zero Harm safety culture

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role or readiness to step into a Leading Hand position
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
• Proven ability to lead by example as a hands-on leader
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Commitment to a safety-first culture

Preferred Qualifications

• MR or HR class driver's licence
• Forklift licence
• Mechanical trade qualification
• LVR/CPR certification
