Leading Hand Ground Support Equipment

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a skilled team responsible for the daily servicing, maintenance, and repair of Ground Support Equipment
• Ensure critical equipment and utilities are safe, reliable, and readily available to support uninterrupted operations
• Provide hands-on technical expertise and leadership to drive efficiency and quality outcomes
• Maintain strong safety practices across the team
• Work across a broad range of equipment including belt loaders, tugs, stairs, and other specialized machinery

Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification (Light/Heavy Mechanical or Auto Electrical)
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills in a maintenance or operational environment
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage demanding schedules
• Proven problem-solving skills under pressure
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Effective communication skills with all levels of staff and stakeholders
• Sound computer literacy and understanding of KPIs
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends
