Leading Expert - Energy Power Plant and Microgrid Control Technology

Responsibilities

• Define and design innovative plant control and microgrid solutions tailored to the European market.
• Set up and lead a research team to build core competitiveness for next-generation energy products.
• Guide product development and technology roadmap evolution in close collaboration with product teams.
• Participate in strategic technical discussions with European power companies and industry partners.
• Monitor industry standards and emerging technologies to provide strategic technical input.
• Represent the company at key industry conferences and technical events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Power Plant Controller (PPC), Micro Grid Controller (MGCC), or Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Proven track record leading R&D for products used in 100 MW or larger projects in Europe.
• Deep knowledge of European micro-grid and power plant installation safety standards.
• Proficiency in IEC 61131 standard and programming tools, specifically Structured Text (ST) and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with global headquarters and external partners.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel within Europe and to China.

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term experience using Siemens or Schneider Electric hardware and software for micro-grid control.
• Background in power system software, power forecasting, or power market analysis.
• Experience with Virtual Power Plant (VPP) development.
