Leadhand Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Direct daily plant-wide maintenance operations and assign PMs and work orders during the shift.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and production personnel to address and correct technical issues.
• Ensure safe operation of production machinery and mechanical equipment through proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process issues independently.
• Repair, replace, adjust, and align components of machinery, including pumps, conveyor systems, and motors.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers regarding equipment failures that impact production.

Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience within the Dairy, Food, or Beverage industry.
• Working knowledge of AC & DC power and control voltages.
• Experience with PLC and VFD drives and process instrumentation.
• Proven ability to systematically diagnose electrical and mechanical problems.
• Basic computer hardware and software skills for maintaining computer-controlled machinery.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and various shifts as required.
