Leadhand Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Direct daily plant-wide maintenance operations and assign PMs and work orders during the shift.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and production personnel to address and correct technical issues.
• Ensure safe operation of production machinery and mechanical equipment through proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including pumps, conveyor systems, motors, and computerized systems.
• Disassemble equipment to remove parts, examine for defects, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Manage radio calls and direct technicians to cover equipment issues as they arise.
• Communicate equipment failures to Supervisors and Managers to minimize production impact.

Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience within the Dairy, Food, or Beverage industry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to systematically diagnose electrical and mechanical problems.
• Working knowledge of AC & DC power, control voltages, PLC, VFD drives, and process instrumentation.
• Proficiency with machines and tools, including their design, use, and maintenance.
• Basic computer hardware and software skills for working on computer-controlled machinery.
• Ability to work 3rd shift, including holidays and overtime as required.
