Leadership Annual Giving Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of leadership annual gift prospects through discovery, identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• Conduct personal face-to-face donor visits, Zoom video calls, and phone calls to build relationships
• Utilize Gravyty to actively manage and move prospects through the fundraising pipeline
• Maintain a presence in assigned geographical regions through regular travel to engage prospects
• Represent the University at on-campus and off-campus special events
• Provide input on invitation lists and identify unique event opportunities to engage donors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of experience in development or a related field
• Proven experience in fundraising, institutional advancement, or marketing
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with potential donors
• Willingness to travel, sometimes extensively, and work occasional nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a higher education setting
• Background in event planning or volunteer management
• Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite
