Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the activities of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees
• Oversee operational processes to achieve and monitor production objectives
• Manage group budgets and ensure high product quality standards
• Report and analyze key indicators including productivity, quality, health and safety, and absenteeism
• Drive continuous improvement using operational excellence and problem-solving concepts
• Ensure employee training, performance evaluation, and talent development
• Maintain effective communication with other departments to resolve sector-related issues
• Promote a work environment based on teamwork, open communication, and company values

Requirements

• Diploma in operations, production, engineering management, or a related field (aeronautics is an asset)
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience within a unionized manufacturing environment
• Strong planning and organizational skills to ensure results are achieved
• Proficiency in French (English is considered an asset)
• Ability to work different shifts if required
• Strong interpersonal skills and managerial courage
