Lead Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including pulling, picking, staging, sorting, and loading customer orders.
• Manage inbound receiving functions and unloading of loads.
• Assign resources to ensure daily production goals and shipping deadlines are met.
• Conduct quality audits on outbound customer loads and provide input for facility-wide quality improvements.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed and identify/correct potential hazards.
• Provide training to warehouse associates on company policies, processes, and WMS usage.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and overall facility cleanliness.
• Oversee compliance with Hazmat requirements and Department of Transportation guidelines.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• 3-5 years of previous leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with WMS systems, specifically SAP experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Proficiency in using personal computers, including spreadsheets and word processing software.
• Strong understanding of administrative and management functions such as planning and coordinating.
