Lead Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight
• Support the supervisory team in implementing and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist team members with Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage, including training and troubleshooting
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, as well as hand jacks, for palletization and cargo handling
• Receive goods by offloading vehicles, checking paperwork, and reporting any discrepancies or damages
• Prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and preparing Unit Load Devices (ULD)
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and security standards
• Execute site-specific duties including weekly bond checks and Dock-to-Stock procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 2 years of previous warehouse operations experience
• Certified forklift operator
• Strong physical stamina and coordination, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm) and maintain a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, and Delivery Orders
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to speak Spanish
