Lead Veterinarian

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of veterinarians by modeling excellent medical practice
• Mentor associate doctors to improve performance in client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, and efficiency
• Empower the care team to deliver an unparalleled client experience
• Collaborate with the clinic manager to drive performance regarding medical quality, member experience, and employee engagement
• Embody and encourage a culture of self-compassion and a blame-free work environment
• Lead initiatives that support the well-being and sustainability of the clinical team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Veterinarian
• 1+ year of experience managing and leading teams of Veterinarians
• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
• Active California veterinary license in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions
