Responsibilities
- Engage with current and prospective clients to understand technical and business challenges
- Present and demonstrate SingleStore product offerings to Fortune 50 companies
- Provide valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions
- Create and validate TCO calculations and ROI models to demonstrate business outcomes
- Stay up to date with database technologies and SingleStore product offerings
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or 7+ years in a technical pre-sales role
- Alternatively, an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or 7+ years in value engineering or management consulting
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience negotiating complex deals from a value-based selling perspective
- Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting to C-Suite executives
- Broad experience with large-scale distributed databases or data warehousing technologies
- Proficiency in ANSI SQL, Excel, and Python
- Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and hybrid architectures
