Lead - US Federal Income Tax

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal income tax return calculations, including E&P, foreign tax credits, NCTI, FDII, and stock basis.
• Manage U.S. return filings such as 1120 forms, 5471s, 8858s, and country-by-country reporting (CBCR).
• Analyze financial data and workpapers to identify variances and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with Global Tax and Finance teams to support U.S. federal tax provisions and returns.
• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including analysis of deferred tax assets/liabilities and effective tax rate drivers.
• Support IRS audit requests and internal reviews by providing documented data, analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation opportunities within tax processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, CMA, CIA, ACCA, or CISA).
• 8-10 years of tax work experience, specifically including U.S. federal income tax and international components.
• Proficiency with tax compliance software such as Corptax, OneSource, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tax accounting under U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and significant experience with SAP.
• Advanced English proficiency with excellent oral and written communication skills.
