Lead Transportation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the stable operation and continuous improvement of transportation ordering for Amazon Middle Mile.
• Ensure transportation plans are accurately reflected in systems and orders are completed with carriers without delay.
• Adapt operations to new tools and mechanisms introduced by Amazon, ensuring alignment with Japanese business requirements.
• Audit daily ordering quality, detect anomalies early, and implement root cause analysis and prevention measures.
• Manage daily operations (60%) including progress tracking and issue resolution.
• Drive project management (40%) including strategic planning and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical formulas, and data cleansing).
• Experience managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation.
• 1+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with SQL.
