Lead Translator & Executive Liaison

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary linguistic and communication partner to the CEO, supporting executive meetings and sensitive discussions.
• Act as a trusted intermediary to ensure messages are accurately conveyed in tone, intent, and cultural context.
• Assist with executive-level communications, including drafting, reviewing, and translating correspondence, presentations, and talking points.
• Interpret verbal communications during high-level meetings, conferences, and negotiations.
• Translate written materials such as contracts, reports, and internal communications with precision.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive business, personal, and strategic information.
• Provide translation and localization support to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between leadership intent and execution.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin and English.
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives or CEOs in a translation, liaison, or communications capacity.
• High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and emotional intelligence.
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
• Strong cultural awareness and the ability to navigate nuanced interpersonal dynamics.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including extended hours and international travel.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in translation or interpretation within the business, gaming, technology, or media industries.
• Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
