Lead, TPL – Planning & Integration

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution, issue resolution, and cross-functional alignment across the entire vehicle program
• Develop and maintain the detailed, integrated R&D project timing plan
• Drive timing plan alignment across vehicle main system teams and functional departments
• Consolidate MST and department inputs into the R&D master plan
• Own timing plan change control management
• Monitor and track progress against R&D milestone deliverables
• Track and report R&D release status in alignment with PEP milestones
• Support maturity assessment and milestone reviews
• Identify timing-related risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks
• Drive cross-functional alignment on schedule assumptions and recovery plans
• Support preparation of program reporting, dashboards, and leadership materials
• Act as a central coordination point for planning and integration activities

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in the automotive industry
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Proven experience managing integrated project timelines for complex automotive programs
• Strong understanding of vehicle development processes and release cycles
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple teams and functions
• Experience managing timing plan updates and change control processes
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with project planning tools like Microsoft Project or JIRA
• Demonstrated AI literacy to enhance planning efficiency
• High attention to detail regarding planning accuracy and data integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments
• Understanding of the Volkswagen PEP product development system
