Lead Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance using current curriculum guides
• Maintain a daily routine that covers all areas of child development
• Establish professional rapport with families and use parent communication apps efficiently
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional needs of each child are met
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment
• Manage child assessments, portfolios, and conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences
• Perform daily classroom duties related to the care of toddlers

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
