- Deliver engaging lessons using a thoughtfully designed curriculum to spark curiosity
- Support child growth and well-being through responsive care and classroom management
- Partner with families through open communication and meaningful connection
- Collaborate with educators to create a joyful and purposeful classroom culture
- Support social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must meet Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications (60 college credits with ECE focus, CDA, or Associate/Bachelor's in ECE)
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
- 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori or Reggio-inspired environment
