Lead Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using a thoughtfully designed curriculum to spark curiosity
• Support child growth and well-being through responsive care and classroom management
• Partner with families through open communication and meaningful connection
• Collaborate with educators to create a joyful and purposeful classroom culture
• Support social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must meet Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications (60 college credits with ECE focus, CDA, or Associate/Bachelor's in ECE)
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
• 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori or Reggio-inspired environment
