Lead Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electronic, electromechanical, and RF systems
• Support engineering, quality control, calibration, and maintenance tasks in laboratory and production environments
• Analyze and report test data accurately, interpreting plots, graphs, and tabulated parameters
• Troubleshoot analog, digital, and RF circuits to isolate problems between test environments and units under test
• Utilize engineering drawings, manuals, and documentation to ensure procedural compliance
• Provide mentorship and technical training to junior technicians
• Generate detailed failure entries and technical documentation for identified issues

Requirements

• AA/AS degree or equivalent 2-year post-high school training
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and components
• Proficiency with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Ability to lift at least 15 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking and climbing ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Radio Frequency equipment including radios, radar, and Electronic Warfare systems
• Experience with industry ERP systems such as PRISM, Oracle E-Business, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
