Lead Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases for geospatial applications and Java microservices
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
• Conduct manual testing to verify complex geospatial analysis and visualization features
• Perform regression testing to identify and track software defects
• Evaluate the performance of Java microservices and geospatial applications to identify bottlenecks
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and reports
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and advocate for quality practices
• Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking systems

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Two years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 4 years additional experience)
• Strong proficiency in Python for automated test solutions and CI/CD integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial applications, Java microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of geospatial techniques, analysis, and visualization
• Proficiency in Selenium, JUnit, or similar automation tools
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
