Lead Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end test automation strategies, including framework design, risk-based coverage, and quality gates.
• Architect and govern reusable automation frameworks leveraging UiPath Test Suite, Test Manager, and REFramework.
• Manage the full test lifecycle from planning and execution to defect management and technical sign-off.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, translating complex testing outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and coach L1–L3 Testing engineers, conducting code reviews and enforcing engineering standards.
• Partner with Business Analysts to ensure banking process logic is accurately reflected in automated test scenarios.
• Identify and mitigate testing risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of total IT experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead or test automation lead role managing delivery teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on UiPath experience, including deep proficiency in Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Manager.
• Proven ability to design and enforce scalable automation architectures (e.g., REFramework).
• UiPath Certified Professional — Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD).
• UiPath Test Automation Specialist certification.
• Strong experience operating within Agile/Scrum or SAFe frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of core banking processes (payments, lending, regulatory reporting, etc.).
• Experience integrating UiPath test suites into DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to core banking platforms such as FIS, Jack Henry, or Temenos.
• Familiarity with complementary frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca.
• UiPath Certified Solution Architect certification.
• ISTQB Advanced Level — Test Manager (CTAL-TM) certification.
