Lead Teller

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary resource for resolving complex client servicing issues and troubleshooting problems.
• Coach and mentor tellers to enhance the client experience and ensure operational effectiveness.
• Manage day-to-day teller line duties, including scheduling, staffing, and overseeing operational standards.
• Identify financial wellness opportunities during client interactions and transition clients to Bankers.
• Ensure branch compliance with regulatory, security, and internal audit controls.
• Support the Branch Manager with the onboarding and training of new teller team members.
• Accurately process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash drawers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in client relationship management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cash handling.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and calculators.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and motivational skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a Notary License.
