Lead Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of payments platform projects, from strategy and scoping through execution and launch.
• Lead cross-functional teams including product, technology, and operations to deliver high-impact platform solutions.
• Partner with engineering and product leads to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless API integration.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and governance structures to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, driving remediation to closure.
• Establish robust governance structures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support program management workflows with strong validation habits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, leading complex technology projects in a large organization.
• Proven experience managing technical projects within payments platforms, merchant services, or fintech.
• Strong technical understanding of payments products, APIs, and integration patterns (e.g., RTP, ACH, wires).
• Demonstrated ability to translate business value into actionable technical requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technologies such as REST APIs, Python, SQL, Snowflake, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
• Knowledge of payments industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile/Scrum certification.
