Lead Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex technology programs, specifically managing data center failover and disaster recovery (DR) events.
• Build and maintain end-to-end program plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, product, and business stakeholders to define objectives and success criteria.
• Identify risks and issues early, driving mitigation plans and contingency options to ensure event stability.
• Coordinate application and service failovers with lines of business and existing DR teams.
• Own the release plan for each event, including communications, stakeholder updates, and go/no-go checkpoints.
• Manage vendor coordination for hardware and software changes, including scheduling and deliverables.
• Develop and improve event runbooks, checklists, and readiness artifacts.
• Drive change and incident management processes during events, including escalation paths and post-event follow-up.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management delivering complex technology programs in a large organization.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions across teams and clients.
• Technical fluency, including experience working with vendor products and managing vendor relationships in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing and coordinating technical solutions across infrastructure and application stakeholders.
• Ability to support weekend schedules for multiple change events per year.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to translate technical goals into executable plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of technology domains such as infrastructure operations, network services, or platform services.
• Experience building partnerships across multiple organizations and leading distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Track record of improving operating discipline through runbooks, controls, and post-mortems.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
