Lead Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and document front-end architecture for high-traffic, component-based websites using React and Next.js
• Define front-end rendering strategies that align with design requirements, client goals, and scalability
• Lead CMS integrations with headless and composable platforms such as Contentful, Sitecore, Sanity, or Optimizely
• Lead front-end execution across multiple digital projects in parallel, including sprint planning and estimation
• Write and review scalable, well-documented TypeScript code that meets project standards
• Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement Figma prototypes with precision and responsiveness
• Mentor junior and mid-level front-end developers to foster skill growth and knowledge sharing
• Define and enforce best practices across code quality, version control, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proven experience with headless architecture and the Server-Client Rendering Spectrum
• Experience with API consumption using REST or GraphQL
• Proven experience in modular web development using Atomic Design and Storybook
• Experience working with headless/composable CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sitecore, Sanity, or Optimizely)
• Experience with modern frontend hosting solutions like Vercel or Netlify
• Proficiency with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine
• Strong understanding of website performance, accessibility, and WCAG standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical decisions for non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an agency or consulting environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience working with distributed and remote teams
