Lead Tech, Field Svc

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical focal for on-wing troubleshooting and investigations, specifically regarding commercial premium seating
• Capture and analyze technical data, including failure symptoms, root causes, and diagnostic maintenance tooling results
• Coordinate technical support between the Field Service Manager, Airline Maintenance, and Engineering departments
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and field teams to share priorities and product performance metrics
• Support Entry Into Service (EIS) activities, including aircraft meet-and-greets and performance tracking
• Assist in delivering customer training on Collins Interiors commercial seating products
• Participate in reliability meetings to analyze airline data related to product performance and in-service quality

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of related experience and/or training in an aircraft technical environment
• Fluency in English with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a professional setting
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting technical documents such as CMM, SB, and SL
• Strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts like ratios and proportions to practical technical situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with commercial airline premium seating
• Valid Airframe License
