Lead Teacher - Infant/Toddler

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily care, supervision, and early learning experiences of infants and toddlers
• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and daily routines
• Promote social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and early communication development
• Ensure compliance with Title 22, Title 5, and all applicable Kidango policies
• Observe and document children’s development using required assessment tools
• Partner with families through regular communication and engagement practices
• Provide leadership and guidance to Associate Teachers and classroom support staff
• Maintain accurate classroom records including attendance and developmental documentation

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Teacher Permit from the Department of Education
• CPR/First Aid Training Certification
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Compliance with Senate Bill 792 immunization requirements
• Completion of 16 hours of health and safety training

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed program
• Experience leading classroom activities and supporting teaching staff
• Meeting specific Title 5 and Title 22 requirements for Lead Teachers
